SEXUAL
DISEASES
Free sex means a sexual relationship between a male and female
before or without marriage. Usually the subjects who are teenagers or adults have
sex with different people. In shariah Islam, there are many verses forbidding
free sex activities as showed in the following.
“Tell
the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their modesty; this is purer
for them. Surely Allah (God) is Well-Aware of their actions (Holy Quran An-Nour,
chapter 24, verse 30).”
“And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever
an immorality and is evil as a way (Holy Quran Al-Israa, chapter
17, verse 32)
There
are many more verses in Holy Quran forbidding free sex activities.
Be
careful. It will infect you with sexually transmitted diseases (STD). The more people
you have sexual activities with the more STD diseases you might be infected.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that 50 organisms spread
through sex organs. Today, 40 million American people are infected with STD.
These medical problems reach 12 million cases each year. In other words, it has
33.000 new cases each day.
The
chief of American Social Health Association in Research Triangle Park, North Caroline,
Peggy Darke, said, “These are dreadfully fast-spread diseases. That is why Islam
prohibits people to do free sex activities. That is how Islam goes.
Here
are some common sexually transmitted diseases that people might contaminate
people.
1.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis
B disease can continue to heart cancer. There are 200.000 cases are reported
every year.
2.
Prostate cancer
In
a medical research, Karin Rosenblatt from University of Illinois undertook a
research involving 753 male participants. She concluded that there is a correlation
between prostate cancer and the quantity of someone having sex. Men who have
sex with many women, can be infected with prostate cancer twice.
3.
Syphilis
Syphilis
is a very famous STD. Today, in Indonesia, this disease becomes popular. Syphilis is a fatal disease that is caused by
the infection of the bacteria into a human body as an impact of having unsafe
sex or using an infected syringe. In America, about 120.000 people are infected
from this disease.
4.
Gonorrhoea
Gonorrhoeae is a STD that is caused by
Neisseria Gonorrhoeae bacteria. This bacteria may attack mucus membrane, throat
membrane, cornea, urethra membrane, anus membrane, as well as the membranes in
cervix, uterus, and womb tube. Gonorrhoeae is another common disease that contaminates
those who frequently have sex.
This
disease has been existed for many years and infected around 1,5 million male or
female American people each year. Although the infected people infrequently experience
the symptom, they will feel hurt when they urinate. Besides, this bacterium
will produce the gonorrheal pus after two or ten days. If the infected people are not treated, this
bacterium will grow into arthritis, chafed skin, and heart and brain infection.
This disease can be treated with an antibiotic.
5.
Herpes genital
Herpes
genital is another STD disease that contaminates male or female genitals
through sexual activities like vagina, anal and oral sex activities. The infection
is caused by herpes virus or so called HSV. When it is active, the virus will grow
and travel to neuron cells. It is infectious and come into human body through
any membranal mucosa.
Membranal
mucosas are a damp soft tissue that covers up the open parts of human body. It
is located in several parts and contact with human skin, as in mouth partition,
inner part of eyelid, ears, ureter, vagina partition, and anus.
In
Indonesia, this disease is also famous. In America, almost 31 million people or
one out of six people suffer from herpes genital. Herpes Simplex Type 2 Virus transmits
a disease to people and the irritation chafes people’s genital that sometimes contaminates
and recovers.
6.
HIV/AIDS
HIV/AIDS
was found in 1984 for the first time. It is the sixth killing disease in the
earth for both men and women. This virus attacks body resistance and transmits
the disease through blood and sperm while having sex. Until now, there is no
clear explanation of this disease. The vaccine for this virus has been
developed for years although it does not give the best result.
The
only way to prevent this disease is to have a safe sex with a legal partner
(spouse). The use of condom may halt transmitting the
HIV and gonorrhea viruses, but is less effective to prevent from herpes,
trichomoniasis, chlamydia, and HPV viruses.
